Petrokefali ist ein traditionelles Dorf im Tal von Messara. Der berühmte Matala Beach und Kommos sind nur wenige Kilometer entfernt. Petrokefali is a traditional village in the Valley of Messara. The famous Matala Beach and Kommos are just a few kilometers away. In the village there is the double temple of the Holy Spirit and Annunciation, the church of Panagia and Agios Eleftherios. During the feasts of the temples, they are celebrated with traditional Cretan dances. The rezidens of the village often organize and other festivals to preserve their traditions and customs.
