Das traditionelle Dorf Pemonia liegt im Herzen der Region Apokoronas in Chania, am Fuße der White Mountains und umgeben von einem fruchtbaren Tal aus Weinbergen, Olivenhainen und Zypressen. Die Stadt Chania ist nur 25 Autominuten entfernt. Das Hauptdorf Fres liegt weniger als 2 km den Hügel hinauf und bietet einen Minimarkt, Tavernen und ein Informationszentrum. In Pemonia gibt es einige Kafenionen, in denen täglich Annehmlichkeiten angeboten werden und täglich frisches Brot ins Dorf geliefert wird.

The traditional village of Pemonia is located in the heart of the Apokoronas region of Chania, situated on the feet of White Mountains and surrounded by a fertile valley of vineyards, olive groves and cypress trees. Chania city is only a 25min drive. The main village of Fres is less than 2 kms up the hill, with a mini-market, tavernas and information centre. There are a few kafenions in Pemonia where daily amenities can be found and fresh bread is delivered to the village every day.
