Milatos ist ein kleines, entzückendes Fischerdorf, ca. 12 km vom beliebten Sommerferienort Malia entfernt. Im Dorf gibt es Restaurants, Cafés und Geschäfte sowie weitere Einrichtungen im nahe gelegenen Ferienort Sissi. Das alte Dorf Milatos liegt an der Nordküste Lasithis etwa 1,5 km landeinwärts und besteht aus alten traditionellen Steinhäusern, Kirchen, einem kleinen Laden und einigen Kafenia. Hier gibt es einen herrlichen Blick auf das Meer. Etwa 3 km vom alten Dorf entfernt befindet sich die berühmte Milatos-Höhle, die einen Ausflug wert ist. Der internationale Flughafen von Heraklion ist in 40 Minuten erreichbar.

Milatos is a small, delightful fishing village about 12 km from the popular summer holiday resort of Malia. There are restaurants, cafes and shops in the village, as well as other facilities in the nearby resort of Sissi. The old village of Milatos is located on the north coast of Lasithis about 1.5 km inland and consists of old traditional stone houses, churches, a small shop and some kafenia. There is a wonderful view of the sea here. About 3 km from the old village is the famous Milatos Cave, which is well worth a trip. Heraklion international airport can be reached in 40 minutes.
