Listaros ist ein kleines traditionelles Dorf im Süden Kretas, das sich bis zum Fuße der Asterousia ausgebreitet hat. Es hat ungefähr 30 ständige Einwohner, die dieses Dorf gewählt haben, weil es weit weg vom Tourismus und innerhalb der Natur ist. Listaros is a small traditional village in southern Crete which has climbed to the foot of Asterousia. It has about 30 permanent residents who have chosen this village because it is far from tourism and within nature. In summer, the village comes to life as European citizens, owners of houses in Listaros, come for holidays creating a multinational village. Overlooking the plain of Messara and the peaks of Psiloritis, Listaros is a safe choice for quiet and relaxing holidays. The nearest beach is Kommos just 8km away while at 10km is the famous beach of Matala.
