Episkopi ist ein traditionelles Dorf, das zwischen dem nördlichen Küstendorf Pachia Amos und der südlichen Küstenstadt Ierapetra im engsten Teil Kretas liegt. Östlich unterhalb der Durchgangsstraße steht die kleine Kuppelkirche der Heiligen Georgios und Charalambos. Das Meer im Norden oder Süden ist innerhalb von 10 Autominuten erreichbar. Das Dorf hat einen attraktiven Dorfplatz mit einigen Cafés und eine schöne byzantinische Kirche, die kürzlich restauriert wurde. In der Nähe befindet sich die ca. 1,5 km lange Schlucht Ha Gorge, die stellenweise bis zu 300 m hoch ist. Der internationale Flughafen von Heraklion ist etwas mehr als eine Autostunde entfernt.

Episkopi is a traditional village that lies between the northern coastal village of Pachia Amos and the southern coastal town of Ierapetra in the narrowest part of Crete. To the east below the thoroughfare stands the small domed church of Saints Georgios and Charalambos. The sea in the north or south can be reached within 10 minutes by car. The village has an attractive village square with a few cafes and a beautiful Byzantine church that has recently been restored. Nearby is the approximately 1.5 km long Ha Gorge, which is up to 300 m high in places. Heraklion International Airport is just over an hour’s drive away.
