Armeni ist eine Ortschaft in der Gemeinde Rethymno auf der griechischen Insel Kreta. Bekannt ist Armeni durch die archäologische Fundstätte des spätminoischen Friedhofs etwa 1,5 Kilometer nördlich des Ortes. Man sieht in Armeni mehrere Dutzend Grabkammern von sehr unterschiedlicher Größe und Tiefe. Manche sind über 10 Meter lang und einige Meter tief. Interessant ist auch die Landschaft und die Pflanzen auf dem Friedhof in Armeni, vor allem wenn im Frühling die Orchideen und andere Blumen blühen.
Armeni ist ein typisches kretisches Dorf, dass an einer Durchgangsstraße liegt. Im Zentrum ist eine nette Taverne und ein mittelgroßer Supermarkt. Am Ausgang des Dorfs in dieser Richtung ist auf der linken Seite eine sehr gute Bäckerei.

Armeni is a typical Cretan village that lies on a thoroughfare. In the center there is a nice tavern and a medium-sized supermarket. At the exit of the village in this direction there is a very good bakery on the left.
